Mrs. Rivas has over 13 years of experience as a licensed clinical social work who has a multi-lingual and multicultural background. She's worked with many different populations such as LGBTQ+ people, substance abusers, and survivors of violence from intimate partners. Since 2019 Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. Dr. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team that assists pregnant and post-partum women. She provides trauma-informed therapy for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma-related care. She also offers Group and Individual Therapy and Medication-Assisted Treatment programs, Recommendations to Specialty Care Women's Support Group. Amanda also volunteers at Best Friends Animal Society, aiding homeless animals to find permanent home.
