Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, and work part-time jobs. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance in comparison to her fellow students and contemplated a possible alternative direction she would take. Lennox began her career as musician within the band Dragons Playground. She left the band shortly before their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British pop group. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox then began to work on her first solo album Diva, which was released by 1992. It became a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. This C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The collection consisting of four tracks improvised. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is a social activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They would go on, during the 80s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics.
